Tikki Tikki Tembo

Wednesday was the end celebration of the Ancestry unit in Rose's class. She studied England, we found several relatives who were born in England and some great facts. Part of the celebration was a potluck and we were all invited! Rose chose to bring hot cross buns as a food to share from her country of study. Made by Mom, they were a hit and very tasty!

The kids also preformed a play based on this book, called Tikki Tikki Tembo. It is a Chinese folk tale, the kids did a great job and it was very cute. Our little actress had fun singing in the chorus. They also made their cool paper hats :)

  2. Leigh, you do so much at the school. I want you to make hot cross buns for my class (of one). I'll even put on a play for you!
