brotform


For Christmas I received a brotform from Stan and Lorna (thanks again!). For those of you who don't know, it is a willow bread proofing basket. The canes and airflow help the crust stay nice and crisp and also make a pretty pattern on your loaf. I tried it out today with some wheat potato bread.

  2. *Very* pretty and crusty - so I'm thinking the bread recipe you use makes a big difference in the end result. Let me know what you find works best, please! (Because some people I know gave me a brotform for Christmas, too :))
