Field trip 2

Our second field trip of the year was to Georgeson Botanical Gardens. A very pretty place! The kids have been learning about plants, so this was a perfect tie in. Rose's teacher has a very strong background in Ag. Science and 4-H programs, so they should be doing a lot of study like this.

Some kind of poppy? and a honey bee! They keep bees at the gardens and had a mini class about them for the kids. We also learned about water bugs, using our senses to find out about the gardens, herbs, edible plants, and got to run the new maze.

    This is so awesome! Love the programs and experiences for my niece. I hope that Liam is having a fun time in his classes as well. It gets kinda different when you get older though.
